The service
About an hour, with readings from her family and former pupils.
Margaret Ellis, 1938–2027. Teacher, gardener and the best letter writer any of us knew. We’re gathering to celebrate her life, and we’d be glad to have you with us.
Margaret taught at the same primary school from 1962 until she retired. Hundreds of people still call her Mrs Ellis.
Her roses won the Hampstead show eleven times. She never once told anyone what she fed them.
All times are local to Hampstead, London.
About an hour, with readings from her family and former pupils.
